The BEURER BM 53 is a very easy-to-use upper arm blood pressure monitor, designed for regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate at home. It requires four AA batteries to operate and is suitable for pregnant women. The tonometer displays the measured values on a large and easy-to-read LCD display. The device provides early warning of possible health problems through the detection of irregular heartbeats and includes other useful functions. The cuff is designed for arms with a circumference of 22–42 cm . The BEURER BM 53 blood pressure monitor has two user memories with a capacity of 100 records. From the measured values, it calculates average values for the last seven days for long-term monitoring of blood pressure changes. With a patented stillness indicator, it ensures accurate results.
