Asustor Flashstor 6-FS6706T
The Asustor Flashstor 6-FS NAS storage device is designed for centralised data storage, backups, and seamless multimedia streaming in both home and business environments. This all-storage Tower network device exclusively uses modern SSDs and offers high transfer speeds with low power consumption. Thanks to the absence of traditional hard drives, it achieves quiet operation with a noise level of just 18.7dB when idle, making it easier to concentrate on work and entertainment without distracting background noise.

High performance with an Intel Celeron processor
The device is powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron N5105 processor, which is manufactured using 10nm technology and runs at frequencies of up to 2.91GHz. This chip delivers up to 31% more performance compared to the previous generation of processors. The 4GB of DDR4-2933 RAM ensures that installed applications and services run smoothly, and users can easily expand it to a total of 16GB if needed.
Fast network connection
The device offers two 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet ports, which achieve read speeds of up to 590MB/s and write speeds of up to 583MB/s when using SMB Multichannel. For connecting external peripherals, you can use two fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with a throughput of 10Gb/s. Two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are also available for connecting other accessories.
Optimised for content creators and gamers
The storage is certified as an official partner for Adobe Creative Cloud audio and video solutions and works brilliantly with Final Cut Pro on Mac computers. Gamers can use iSCSI protocol support to store games directly on the network drive, which behaves like local storage in the operating system, allowing games to be installed and run without needing local space.
Asustor Flashstor 6-FS multimedia centre
Integrated hardware decoding support enables smooth transcoding of 10-bit 4K H.265 videos for seamless playback. An HDMI 2.0b interface provides a connection to a TV or monitor. Audio lovers can use the S/PDIF digital optical output in combination with the Roon Server platform or the Hi-Res Player app to listen to uncompressed music.
Advanced data security and encryption
The ADM operating system is prepared for future security threats by implementing PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography) hybrid encryption with the Kyber algorithm. Data is protected from ransomware by an integrated firewall along with the ClamAV antivirus program and the Snapshot Center tool, which supports up to 256 Btrfs volume snapshots for quick recovery of deleted files.
Cooling and surveillance system
Active cooling is handled by a quiet fan with an optimised air channel, which efficiently dissipates heat from the installed M.2 NVMe drives. For surveillance functions, the system offers four free channels for IP cameras, with the option to expand the licences to up to 44 channels, making it possible to create a comprehensive camera system for monitoring a home or business.
