The ASUS Safe Browsing feature filters unwanted and explicit internet content directly at the router level without needing to install additional apps. In addition, the Instant Guard mobile app creates an encrypted VPN tunnel when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks. Support for OpenVPN and WireGuard protocols complements the VPN Fusion tool for simultaneous normal and encrypted connections.
Ports and Connectors
Physical connectivity is provided by one gigabit WAN port and three gigabit LAN ports for wired devices. The router includes one USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, which are used for sharing files and printers on the local network.
