The Aruba Instant On AP22 WiFi Access Point is an indoor access point with full support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard, which achieves a total transfer speed of up to 1774Mbps across its dual-band network for smooth wireless operation. This access point meets the demanding requirements of small offices, schools, retail stores or the hospitality sector, where it reliably covers the needs of mobile, cloud and IoT applications while maintaining backward compatibility with older 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n and 802.11ac standards.

Wireless standards and transfer speed
The device operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, supporting the modern 802.11ax standard. On the 5GHz band, transfer speeds reach up to 1200Mbps, with MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies in a 2×2 MIMO configuration enhancing data transfer efficiency. Two internal antennas with a gain of 5.6dBi direct the signal towards connected devices for a stable wireless connection.
Mesh technology and network capacity
This access point supports Wi-Fi Mesh technology, which simplifies the creation of a unified network with a single name for seamless roaming. The system handles a recommended number of 75 active devices simultaneously, making it suitable for more demanding office or school environments. The operator can configure up to 8 separate SSIDs within the network for different user groups.
Advanced security and data protection
Modern WPA2 and WPA3 encryption standards ensure the protection of transferred data, complemented by an integrated firewall to prevent unauthorised access. The device supports the IPv6 protocol. The network administrator has access via a cloud interface, which enables remote monitoring and configuration of security parameters from anywhere.
Connectivity options
The connector selection includes one Ethernet WAN port with support for a gigabit speed of 1Gbps to connect to an internet source. Power is supplied exclusively via an Ethernet cable using the PoE 802.3af standard. This method eliminates the need to install a separate power adapter at the mounting location.
