ARCTIC P14 Pro
The Arctic P14 Pro is a 140mm PC fan designed for situations that require high static pressure. Its ability to generate 5.2mmH2O of pressure makes it ideal for efficiently forcing air through dense water-cooling radiators, CPU coolers or restrictive dust filters. The fan's construction, featuring a revised blade design, focuses on creating a concentrated and stable airflow, reaching up to 110 CFM. Despite this performance, the fan maintains low operating noise thanks to a combination of aerodynamic adjustments and advanced vibration-reduction technologies. A wide speed range from 400 to 2500rpm, controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector, provides flexible cooling control based on the current system load.
Key features of the Arctic P14 Pro PC fan
- Generates high static pressure
- Ensures powerful airflow
- Offers a wide speed range with PWM control
- Stops completely under low system load
- Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB)
- 4-pin PWM connector for connection
- Integrated SOTA microcontroller reduces motor noise
Quiet operation of the Arctic P14 Pro PC fan
The low noise level is based on a fluid dynamic bearing, whose extended-shaft design helps to better distribute pressure and effectively minimises friction and vibration. This system is complemented by an automated dual-plane balancing process, which applies balancing mass at two different depth levels with high precision. The result is smooth and stable rotor operation without unwanted mechanical sounds, even at high speeds. This combination of technologies reduces wear and contributes to the fan's long-term operational reliability.
Intelligent motor control of the Arctic P14 Pro
The fan uses an integrated microcontroller with SOTA technology that actively monitors and controls the motor. Its primary function is to suppress the low-frequency noise generated during speed changes and commutation. The microcontroller also compensates for load fluctuations and protects the electronics against current surges and reverse polarity. In this way, it not only contributes to quieter operation but also to the increased stability and protection of the fan's internal components, which extends its overall lifespan.
Aerodynamics and flexible speed control
The revised five-blade design concentrates the airflow and minimises turbulence. This maintains a balanced ratio between high static pressure and low noise levels across the entire speed spectrum. A wide PWM control range from 400 to 2500rpm gives you full control over performance. Additionally, the fan supports a 0rpm mode, which activates when the PWM signal is below 5%. Under low system load, the fan stops completely, resulting in absolutely silent operation and reducing unnecessary bearing wear.
