APC Smart-UPS X 3000VA rack/tower 200-240V

APC Smart-UPS X 3000VA rack/tower 200-240V
The APC Smart-UPS X 3000VA backup power supply uses line-interactive topology with a power output of 3000VA, or 2700W. At half load, it can power connected devices for 18.1 minutes. This backup power supply provides a pure sine wave output to connected electronics, ensuring the reliable operation of sensitive servers, workstations, and network components. Its flexible design allows it to be used as a standalone tower or mounted in a 4U rack position. The integrated LCD display provides a clear overview of the unit's status and metrics. In addition, Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) stabilises the input voltage without needing to switch to battery power.
Key features of the APC Smart-UPS X 3000VA rack/tower with LCD 200-240V
- Uses line-interactive topology with a pure sine wave output
- Flexible rack/tower design for installation in a 4U rack
- User-replaceable battery for easy maintenance
- Integrated SmartSlot for a network card and remote management
- Clear LCD display shows current status and metrics
- Switched outlet groups for independent power control
- Cold-start function for startup without mains power
- Protects the data network via an RJ-45 port
Performance and topology
The line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) actively corrects undervoltage and overvoltage on the mains without unnecessarily switching to the battery, thereby saving its lifespan. An operating efficiency of 98.5% at full load and 97.3% at half load helps to reduce heat loss and operating costs. The apparent power is 3000VA and the real power is 2700W. The backup time at maximum draw is 6.3 minutes, extending to 18.1 minutes at 50% load.
Battery and protection features
It contains a built-in, user-replaceable hot-swappable lead-acid battery. This approach simplifies maintenance and minimises downtime. The power supply integrates comprehensive protection for connected devices. The cold-start feature starts the UPS even without mains power. In addition to standard surge protection for power lines, it also includes an RJ-45 port to protect the data network from surges. The Emergency Power Off (EPO) connector is used for immediate power disconnection in an emergency situation.
Management and monitoring options
The clear LCD display shows key operating statuses and values in real time. For advanced management, it offers a SmartSlot for an optional network card, which enables remote monitoring and management. With this card, you can use the PowerChute Network Shutdown software for automated and safe server shutdown. It also communicates with a computer via USB and RS-232 ports.
Connectors
The input connection uses an IEC C20 connector, and the package includes power cables for both Schuko and BS1363A standards. The output section offers eight IEC C13 sockets and two IEC C19 sockets, which are divided into switched groups for independent power control of connected devices. The package also includes two IEC Jumper cables and an RJ-45 port for data network protection.
