APC Smart-UPS X 2200VA rack/tower LCD 200-240V

APC Smart-UPS X 2200VA rack/tower LCD 200-240V
The APC Smart-UPS X 2200VA uninterruptible power supply uses line-interactive topology and delivers a real power output of 1980W (2200VA). To protect sensitive electronics such as servers and network components, it uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to stabilise mains fluctuations without switching to battery power. The APC 2200VA UPS achieves a high operating efficiency of up to 98.1%, which reduces energy loss and heat emissions. At full load, it provides a backup time of 9 minutes and 45 seconds; at half load, this extends to 25 minutes and 17 seconds. The power supply combines high efficiency with a flexible design and advanced power management.
Key features of the APC Smart-UPS X 2200VA rack/tower LCD 200-240V uninterruptible power supply
- Line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
- Extendable backup time with external batteries
- Intuitive LCD for monitoring and configuration
- Flexible design for rack or tower mounting
- Shutdown of connected devices via PowerChute software

Performance and efficiency with line-interactive topology
This uninterruptible power supply for servers operates with a line-interactive topology that actively corrects undervoltage and overvoltage using Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR). This protects connected devices from mains instability without wasting battery power. It provides a pure sine wave output with a real power of 1980W and an apparent power of 2200VA. Thanks to its modern design, it achieves a high operating efficiency of up to 98.1% at full load and 96.4% at half load, contributing to lower running costs.
Backup time and expansion options
In the event of a power failure, the APC Smart-UPS X 2200VA uninterruptible power supply keeps connected devices running for 9 minutes and 45 seconds at full load, or 25 minutes and 17 seconds at half load. At the heart of the power supply is a lead-acid, user-replaceable battery with a typical recharge time of 3 hours. For applications requiring a significantly longer runtime, you can connect up to ten external SMX120BP battery modules. The cold-start feature also starts the UPS directly from the battery, even without mains power.
Flexible installation and physical properties
The design of this rack/tower UPS offers flexible installation in a 19" rack, where it occupies 4U, or as a free-standing tower. Protection for connected devices includes surge protection with an energy absorption of 645J. The operating noise level reaches 55dBA, which meets the standards for server rooms. The physical dimensions of the power supply are 432 × 178 × 438mm, with a weight of 38.56kg.
Connectivity and sockets
For system integration, the power supply is equipped with USB and RS-232 communication ports. The output section offers eight IEC C13 sockets and two IEC C19 sockets, supplemented by two IEC Jumper cables. It divides the sockets into three independently controlled groups to prioritise power. The input connection is provided by an IEC 320 C20 connector (includes BS1363A, IEC 320 C20, and Schuko CEE 7/EU1-16P power cables).
