The 6U rack UPS achieves a high efficiency of 94.8% at both full and half loads, reducing operating costs. With a built-in network card and PowerChute software, it provides a pure sine wave output for sensitive electronics while offering advanced options for remote management and automated system shutdowns.

Performance and online topology
The backup power supply uses an online, double-conversion topology. This means it continuously powers connected devices from the inverter, completely isolating them from power grid disturbances. It operates with a high efficiency of 94.8% at both full and half loads. The backup time at maximum draw is 5 minutes and 14 seconds, while at 50% load, it extends to 14 minutes and 32 seconds.
Battery system and protection
Backup power is provided by a lead-acid battery with a voltage of ±192V, composed of two APCRBC140 modules. A full recharge takes 1.5 hours. To further extend the runtime, you can connect up to ten external SRT192RMBP2 battery packs. Protection is handled by surge protection with 480J of absorption, an Emergency Power Off (EPO) function, and an internal bypass with both automatic and manual modes.
Remote management and software
USB, RS-232, and Ethernet interfaces are available for management and monitoring. The unit includes a built-in Network Management Card 3, which complements the SmartSlot expansion slot. The included PowerChute Network Shutdown software performs automated and safe shutdowns of servers and virtual machines during prolonged power outages.
Connection options
The APC Smart-UPS SRT 8000VA RM 230V supply offers flexible input connection via a terminal block for both single-phase (1PH+N+G) and three-phase (3PH+N+G) wiring. To power your devices, there are six IEC C13 sockets and four C19 sockets. The package also includes three IEC jumper cables.
