APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA 230V

APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA 230V
The APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA 230V backup power supply ensures an uninterrupted power supply for critical servers and network components. As an on-line UPS with double-conversion technology, it delivers a pure sine wave output with zero transfer time to the battery, fully isolating connected devices from all power grid disturbances. It provides a symmetrical apparent and real power of 6000VA / 6000W with a high operating efficiency of 94.4%. The backup power supply for servers maintains power for 2 minutes and 28 seconds at full load or 8 minutes and 40 seconds at half load.
Key features of the APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA 230V backup power supply
- On-line double-conversion topology for a pure sine wave output
- High power density in both tower and rack-mount designs
- Option to extend backup time with external battery modules
- Integrated Network Management Card enables remote management
- PowerChute software automatically shuts down systems
- Hot-swappable battery without interrupting the power supply
- Internal bypass maintains power during maintenance or failure
On-line topology and high performance
The power supply uses an on-line double-conversion topology that constantly regenerates the input voltage. This provides a pure sine wave output without any interruption when switching to battery power. The technology filters all network anomalies, such as spikes, sags, or frequency instability. It offers matching apparent and real power of 6000VA and 6000W. Its high efficiency reaches 94.4% at both full and half load, which reduces operating costs and thermal losses. The output harmonic distortion does not exceed 2%.
Battery, protection and runtime extension
Inside is a 192V lead-acid, hot-swappable battery (model APCRBC140), which you can replace without interrupting the power to your protected devices. The battery takes only 1.5 hours to fully charge. For maintenance or internal faults, the power supply includes both an automatic and a manual bypass. A surge protection rating of 480J prevents damage to sensitive electronics. The backup time can be further extended by connecting external battery modules, increasing the system's flexibility for future demands.
Remote management and automation
For advanced management and monitoring, an integrated Network Management Card 3 makes the power supply accessible via an Ethernet interface. In addition to the network connection, USB and RS-232 ports are also available for local communication. PowerChute Network Shutdown software performs a controlled shutdown of servers and virtual machines during a prolonged power outage. This prevents data loss and damage to operating systems.
Physical design and installation
The power supply has a versatile design that can be installed as a freestanding tower or mounted in a 19" rack using an optional kit. It offers a universal design with dimensions of 432 × 174 × 719.4mm and a weight of 60kg. Its operating noise level reaches 55dBA.
Connectivity options
A 3-wire (1P+N+G) terminal block is used for connecting to the mains. It also offers six IEC C13 sockets, four IEC C19 sockets, and two IEC Jumper connectors for powering devices.
