APC Easy UPS BV 500VA (IEC)

The APC Easy UPS BV 500VA backup power supply protects electronics in homes and small offices. It uses Standby (Off-line) topology and provides an apparent power of 500VA and a real power of 300W. This power is sufficient for a standard desktop computer and monitor. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) feature actively stabilises mains fluctuations without switching to the backup battery, thereby extending its life. Six IEC C13 output sockets offer both battery backup and surge protection with an energy absorption of 156J. At half load, it powers connected devices for 3 minutes. This gives you enough time to save your work and safely shut down the system. The compact design supports flexible installation on the floor or wall.

Connectivity and sockets

An IEC C14 input connector is used for connecting to the mains. A total of six IEC C13 standard output sockets are available for powering appliances, suitable for computer setups, monitors and other network components. All six sockets provide full battery backup and surge protection simultaneously. This ensures all connected equipment is uniformly protected. This power supply does not include ports for data or telephone line protection and lacks a communication interface, such as a USB port for software management.
