The perfectly compact Akai MPX8 sampler is one of the most innovative pads in the current Akai Professional series. With Secure Digital card you can load virtually any sample into its memory and then assign this sample to any of the eight back-lit speed sensitive pads. The MPX8 also includes a huge built-in library of standard audio samples that can be used instantly for live performances - whether you're in front of a crowd, on a radio show or in a studio.
Bright blue-lit display and intuitive controls ensure convenient use in any lighting conditions. The device is equipped with a headphone output with a 3.5mm connector and two symmetrical 6.3mm outputs. On the MIDI side, the classic five-pin MIDI and USB MIDI inputs and outputs are available.
The Akai MPX8 gives the musicians a handy tool for quick and convenient access to virtually unlimited number of sounds, soundtracks and individual drops. MPX8 also includes a drag-and-drop audio sample editor for Mac and Win. Users can also easily store and then recall their entire sample sets together, such as drum kits.They can apply Reverb to individual samples as well.
