27" Acer Nitro ED270UP0
27" Acer Nitro ED270UP0
The Acer Nitro ED270UP0 is a 27" gaming monitor that combines a curved VA panel with fast gaming specifications. The Quad HD (2560 × 1440) resolution on the 27" screen size renders a sharp and detailed image, while the 1500R curvature draws the viewer deeper into the action. Gamers will appreciate the high 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms (VRB) response time. The combination results in the smooth display of fast movements without blurring. AMD FreeSync technology synchronises frames with the graphics card and reduces screen tearing. The VA panel offers a native contrast ratio of 4,000:1, which adds depth to scenes. The colour reproduction covers 99% of the sRGB space with 8-bit depth.

Image Properties
The display of the Acer Nitro ED270UP0 monitor is based on a 27" VA panel with a matte finish that reduces reflections. The Quad HD (2560 × 1440) resolution provides a finer raster than Full HD, showing more detail in games and at work. The panel uses vertical alignment technology, which delivers a high native contrast ratio of 4,000:1. The monitor renders deep blacks and preserves details even in dark parts of the image. HDR10 support further extends the brightness and contrast range for more vivid and realistic scenes. The colour reproduction covers 99% of the sRGB space, which is sufficient for accurate colour reproduction when gaming and watching movies.
Smooth Motion and Gaming Response
A 144Hz refresh rate means the monitor can display up to 144 frames per second. The result is smoother motion and faster response compared to standard 60Hz monitors. The response time reduces the motion blur effect that can occur with fast camera movements. This combination is key for competitive gaming, where every fraction of a second counts. Smoothness is further enhanced by AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronises the monitor's refresh rate with the graphics card's output. This effectively eliminates screen tearing and stuttering.
Design and Ergonomics
The Acer Nitro ED270UP0 monitor has thin bezels on three sides. The frameless design is practical when using multiple monitors side-by-side, as it eliminates the distracting transition between screens. The stand allows for basic ergonomic adjustment. Users can adjust the screen tilt from -5° to 20° to find a comfortable viewing position. For more advanced positioning, a 75 × 75mm VESA mount can be used to attach the monitor to a wall or alternative stand. It also includes a blue light filter (part of VisionCare technology) to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
Connectivity Options
The Acer Nitro ED270UP0 monitor offers a wide range of connectivity options for various image sources. Thanks to its digital ports, you can easily connect a computer, a games console or other devices. The connector selection ensures flexibility and high compatibility.

Colour Coverage (Gamut)
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, movies, or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², determines the brightness level of the monitor. A brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are sufficient with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
