24.5" AOC 25G42E
24.5" AOC 25G42E
The AOC 25G42E gaming monitor is designed for smooth competitive gaming. This 24.5" IPS monitor with a fast response time combines Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080) with a high 180Hz refresh rate. The result is a sharp and fluid image, which is crucial for quick reactions. The IPS panel delivers accurate colours and wide viewing angles. With a 1ms (GtG) response time, motion blur in action-packed scenes is reduced. This G-Sync compatible Full HD monitor supports Adaptive-Sync, which effectively eliminates screen tearing and stuttering. The monitor ensures a clear and responsive image for competitive gaming.

Smooth visuals for competitive gaming
A 180Hz refresh rate displays up to 180 frames per second, which is more than standard monitors. A high frame rate leads to smoother motion and more accurate tracking of opponents in-game. Along with a response time of 1ms (GtG) and 0.5ms (MPRT), the monitor reduces visual artefacts like ghosting and motion blur. To synchronise the frame rate of the graphics card and the monitor, the AOC 25G42E uses Adaptive-Sync technology. Thanks to its G-Sync compatibility, the image doesn't tear, even with variable system performance.
True-to-life monitor colours
The display of the AOC 25G42E is based on an IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080), which ensures a sharp image on its 24.5" screen size. Thanks to 8-bit colour depth and wide colour coverage, which reaches 124.2% of sRGB and 92.4% of Adobe RGB, the monitor displays vivid and accurate shades. IPS technology delivers consistent colours even when viewed from sharp angles. Support for the HDR10 standard expands the dynamic range, improving contrast and detail in both bright and dark areas of the image.
Practical design and mounting options
The AOC 25G42E sits on a stand that allows the screen to be tilted to adjust the vertical viewing angle according to the user's needs. For more advanced ergonomic solutions, the back is prepared for mounting on a VESA bracket with the standard dimension of 100 × 100 mm. Mounting it on a wall or an adjustable arm frees up space on your desk. The three-sided frameless design reduces the transition between screens, which is practical when using multiple monitors side-by-side.
Eye protection and connectivity options
For extended use, Flicker-Free technology protects the user's eyes by limiting the unnoticeable flickering of the backlight. The blue light filter reduces the emission of the potentially harmful blue light component, thereby reducing eye fatigue. In SDR mode, the AOC 25G42E monitor falls into energy class E with a power consumption of 18W. The monitor offers a modern interface for connecting a computer or gaming console. It uses DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, and also has a 3.5mm headphone output.
- 1× DisplayPort 1.4
- 1× HDMI 2.0
- 1× 3.5mm headphone output

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is valued by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the stated value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², determines the brightness level of the monitor. A brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
