23.8" HP 524sa

This 23.8" HP LCD monitor with a standard Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution is ideal for working with office software, email communication, and searching for information online. It is also suitable for occasional gaming or watching videos and films. With its IPS panel, you get excellent colour reproduction and the image quality remains the same even when you change the viewing angle. This can be used effectively when preparing documents for printing or creating presentations. The matte finish of the display minimises light reflections in the room and helps block light from windows. Thanks to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you can open two document windows side by side and work with them efficiently. The IPS panel is illuminated by LEDs. The maximum brightness of 300 cd/m² is practical for working in environments without bright sunlight and is also suitable for spaces that are not too brightly lit.

The 23.8" IPS PC monitor has a flat design, which makes it easy to use several monitors at once. It is equipped with a filter that lets less harmful blue light through, which can help reduce eye fatigue and improve sleep quality. You can tilt the monitor so that its top side is at eye level, helping you maintain good posture, thus saving your cervical spine and preventing scoliosis. The tilting option will be especially appreciated by those who stand while working at their desk.

The HP monitor will definitely please you with its equipment

You can use HDMI and VGA to connect the monitor to a computer or laptop. If your computer does not have a suitable connector, you can expand its connectivity by purchasing a compatible port replicator. A port replicator also comes in handy when you want to connect two monitors. With the VGA port, you can easily connect older devices. The built-in speakers are a convenient solution for sound and video in one device. In addition to the monitor itself, you will also find an HDMI cable in the package.

Choose a monitor based on colour depth and native contrast

Colour depth refers to the number of colours a monitor can display. For example, a 6-bit monitor can display almost three hundred thousand colours, while a 10-bit monitor can display over a billion colours. With a higher colour depth, colours are displayed with greater subtlety and appear more vibrant and realistic. The colour depth of the monitor on offer is 8 bits. The HP monitor provides a native contrast of 1500:1. The native contrast ratio is a measure of the difference between the brightest and darkest points the monitor can display. If a monitor has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). A higher native contrast allows for improved detail resolution in both dark and light parts of the image. A native contrast not exceeding 1000:1 will be suitable mainly for office purposes, while a ratio up to 2000:1 is appreciated for gaming and watching films. A value above 2000:1 is characteristic of monitors for graphic designers and video editing.

Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.

The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.
