The working principle is based on converting electrical energy into mechanical energy using a so-called piezoelectric element, which creates ultrasonic vibrations. This vibrational wave acts on a vibrating membrane, which pushes the liquid medication through microscopic holes (the mesh), thereby turning it into an aerosol with a very precise droplet size. The inhaler also comes with a practical travel case.
