At the heart of the optical system are two separate 4Mpx sensors, which together create an exceptionally sharp image with a resolution of 2560×1440px. The modern H.265 compression format efficiently reduces storage and network load requirements by as much as 50% while maintaining high recording quality.
Hybrid night vision with four spotlights on the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW700S IP camera
The camera uses an advanced night imaging system that combines classic infrared mode with a full-colour display. The f/1.6 aperture lets enough light reach the sensors, even in deep darkness. When a human figure is detected in the monitored area, four supplementary lights automatically switch on, instantly flooding the scene with bright illumination and enabling colour video recording for easier identification.
Smart detection and active deterrence
Local artificial intelligence algorithms constantly evaluate the captured scene and can accurately recognise human figures and cars. If the defined area is breached, the camera immediately sends a notification to your mobile phone and activates the built-in siren with flashing lights, which reliably alerts you to the presence of an uninvited visitor. An Auto-tracking motion tracking feature is also available.
High-performance two-way communication
The device features an integrated sensitive microphone and a high-performance 2W speaker for clear sound transmission over longer distances. This hardware setup lets you conveniently conduct two-way voice calls in real time directly through the mobile app, which makes it easier to communicate with a courier or a visitor at the gate, for example.
Flexible recording storage, connection and app for the IP camera
Users have three different ways to store captured video recordings according to their preferences. The camera supports local storage on a MicroSD card of up to 256GB, which is inserted into a protected slot directly on the device's body. The recordings can also be backed up to NAS network storage or you can use the secure private Xiaomi Cloud service. A stable wireless connection is provided by the integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi interface with a high-gain external dual antenna. For installation in places with a weak wireless signal, a classic RJ-45 Ethernet port is available. The device is managed through the Xiaomi Home mobile app, which is fully compatible with Android and iOS operating systems and supports control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants.
