A network switch is an active network element connecting individual devices or other network elements. It is suitable for controlling network traffic. The Ubiquiti Fiber OLT is made to be placed in a rack. The model has a switching capacity of 352 Gb/s. The Switch features 2 × RJ-45 ports that facilitate connection with network elements. 8 SFP connectors serve to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100/1000Base-T technology enables file transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It features Dual Personality ports, remarkable for incorporating both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one can be active at a time. The switch dimensions are 442.4 × 285.6 × 43.7mm. QoS aka Quality of Service technology ensures the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also enables you to set up end station priority. The weight of the switch is 4400g.
