SUStee is a Japanese brand of smart soil moisture indicators. With its simple, elegant design and patented technology, it helps growers easily know when it's time to water their plants. The replacement sensor core for SUStee soil moisture meters is influenced by the soil condition. Sustee's replaceable cores are made from natural fibres and are degradable by microorganisms. Core replacement is influenced by the condition of the soil, but generally speaking, the core should be replaced when it stops turning blue after watering (after about 6-9 months).

Use
Simply pull Sustee out of the pot. If dirt has accumulated in the Sustee, clean it before inserting a new core. Make sure you replace all the parts at once (inner core, blue foil and straw). Occasionally, it is possible for the straw to remain inside the main unit. If this happens, simply remove it with tweezers. Remove the top screw cap and look inside to make sure no used core material remains. Keep the refill in the inner bag of the product packaging until just before use.
