I've been looking for headphones that fit my whole ears nicely because of the piercigs and this is the obvious answer. I've never had a more comfortable headset on my head than the WH-1000XM5. They're great for the office. I want quiet, I turn on noice cancelling and it's quiet, I want to feel that I have the speaker with me with my songs but not disturb anyone, I turn on ambient mode, it's perfect. They are extremely comfortable and surprisingly light for their size, even the passive soundproofing is beautifully noticeable, I love them and in combination with the WF-1000XM5 I always have the same sound settings and the actual sound quality and options with me. If you're hesitant to buy them, like I was before I bought, I say: DON'T HESITATE AND GO GET THEM!
