Headphones are great until you crack the "joint" between the earpiece and the bridge. If you look at used sales, almost all of them have this problem, to come across a non-squat one is a rarity. For me, it is a design flaw where the earpiece itself is too heavy to hold on a 1cm joint, all it takes is pressure at the right angle and the earpiece "wiggles" out of the design. If you don't have a warranty, it can be glued (the problem remains), you can get struts, or you're out of luck. If you buy, then you have to be very careful with them.

I bought the Sony WH-1000XM5s headphones expecting premium quality. Unfortunately, my experience is very negative. After less than a year of normal use, the head bridge cracked at the ejection point. The headphones have never fallen off or been subjected to impact. The damage occurred during normal deployment. This is a very structurally stressed site. The complaint was rejected by the authorised service centre on the grounds of "mechanical damage", without any specific technical explanation. The service refers to the manufacturer's internal rules and disclaims any liability. Alza, as the seller, took over the whole situation without further consideration, stating that the statement of the service department was decisive for them. Instead of a solution, they only offered a paid repair for CZK 2,555 + shipping, almost half the original price. I am particularly sorry about the approach - no effort for individual solutions, no attempt to compromise, only transfer of responsibility to the service and the manufacturer.
