Versatile recording mode
The Panasonic HC-X20E digital camera supports a high bitrate of 200 Mbps for 59.94p/50p video recording with HEVC codec (LongGOP/10 bit 4:2:0/MOV). Super Slow Recording supports 10-bit FHD recording at 120/100 fps. /s* and 4K (UHD) VFR from 2 to 60 sn. /s** for fast- and slow-motion footage and allows for highly creative expression through video.
* 59.94 Hz: 120 sn. /s, 50 Hz: 100 sn. /s
** Selectable frame rate depends on the recording format
High-precision AF autofocus in 4K mode and ND filter
Face Detection accurately captures subjects on location without blurring or underexposure issues. The addition of colour recognition also improves the tracking of objects without interruption when the face moves sideways. ND filters are built into the lens to suppress incident light. Filters can be selected (1/4, 1/16, 1/64 or VYP) according to the environment. This feature is useful, for example, when you want to shoot at slow shutter speeds in bright daylight.
5-axis HYBRID O. I. S. +
In addition to optical image stabilization, both UHD/FHD modes also feature electronic stabilization that detects and corrects hand shake in 5 axes. The optical stabiliser system reduces friction in the drive section and particularly improves the correction of blur caused by small vibrations.
10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording
4:2:2 10-bit colour profile recording up to LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mbps) or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mbps) using SD cards. Output 10-bit UHD 59.94p/50p frames via HDMI.
Wireless control from tablet or smartphone and live streaming in Full-HD
Face Detection accurately captures subjects on location without blurring or underexposure issues. The addition of colour recognition also improves the tracking of objects without interruption when the face moves sideways. HD streaming compatible with RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS protocols enables direct connection and distribution of concerts, sports events and news to Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Triple hand rings and terminals for 2-channel XLR audio input
The X20 has triple manual rings on the lens for focusing, zooming and aperture control. The Rlearning functions provide professional operation and enable fast and intuitive camera operation. Optional XLR audio input with +48V Phantom Power Supply/MIC/LINE option with manual volume control is provided for both 2 channels. It also supports 24-bit high resolution linear PCM audio recording with a professional microphone.
3.5-inch high-brightness LCD monitor and tilting OLED viewfinder
The LCD monitor containing approximately 2,760,000 dots provides excellent visibility even in bright sunlight and the electrostatic touch panel makes menu operation easy. Simultaneous LCD/EVF output continuously displays the LCD monitor image, b regardless of whether you are looking at the viewfinder. The colour OLED viewfinder with a resolution of 2,360k dots includes a practical tilting option. The large eyepiece is comfortable on both left and right eye.
Two SD card slots and user buttons
Two SD card slots allow for unlimited* recording, easy SD card swapping, as well as simultaneous and background recording for high recording reliability. User buttons can be assigned 45 functions. A total of 14 user buttons are available: nine on the body and five on the LCD touch panel. O buttons. I. S. and D. ZOOM can also be used as user buttons.
*The maximum amount of data that can be recorded on multiple SD cards is 96 GB. Uploading will not stop even if the data size exceeds 96 GB.
High capacity battery and compatible USB-LAN adapter
A high-capacity battery is included, equipped with an indicator that shows the remaining battery capacity. You will appreciate the high capacity for professional use, such as shooting long events. Wired LAN connection enables stable live streaming even in environments with unstable Wi-Fi via USB-LAN adapter (sold separately).
