The NIL Balance chopping board is made from an innovative biomaterial that partly uses corn stalks and husks – food production by-products that find a new purpose. The chopping board is free from microplastics and easy to maintain because you can wash it in the dishwasher. Unlike conventional plastic boards, it is also fully compostable at the end of its life.
The NIL brand brings a fresh perspective to kitchen accessories and their environmental impact. Its goal is to reduce plastic waste through functional and aesthetic products made from innovative bio-based materials. When designing them, they consider the entire life cycle, from the origin of the raw materials used to the end of their life. The name NIL comes from the idea of "nothing is left" and captures the effort to use resources wisely and create products that leave a smaller footprint.
