The 14+2+1 Duet Rail Power System with digital phases and an 80A Smart Power Stage ensures a stable power supply. The board uses a six-layer PCB with reinforced copper for optimal signal transfer and reliable operation. Dual 8-pin CPU power connectors, along with Core Boost technology, guarantee sufficient power headroom even when overclocking. The solid-pin design on all power connectors ensures lower impedance and greater stability when transferring high currents. An additional PCIe power connector provides dedicated power for high-draw graphics cards, which is ideal for demanding gaming and AI applications.
Advanced DDR5 memory support
Four memory slots support modern DDR5 modules with overclocking via EXPO and A-XMP profiles, allowing the board to reach frequencies over 8400MHz. High-Efficiency mode optimises memory throughput and reduces latency with four sets of timings, letting you find the ideal configuration based on the quality of the modules used. The Latency Killer feature can reduce memory latency by up to 12% at high frequencies and is compatible with Memory Try It, EXPO, A-XMP, and High-Efficiency mode. Protection for the memory slots using transient voltage suppressors guards against overvoltage.
Effective cooling for long-term performance
The extended cooling system covers the power circuits and ensures effective heat dissipation even when all processor cores are under full load. VRM heatsinks with 7W/mK thermal pads and additional pads for the chokes maintain stable component temperatures. M.2 Shield Frozr II protects SSDs from overheating and ensures consistent storage performance. An enlarged chipset heatsink reduces noise and maintains high heat dissipation efficiency.
