The Mercusys MS128GP 28-Port Gigabit with 24-Port PoE+ is made to be installed in a rack. This type features a switching capacity of 448 Gb/s. The Switch has 26 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. 2 SFP connectors serve to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100/1000Base-T technology enables data transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It works with Dual Personality ports, notable for incorporating both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one of them can be active at a time. The switch dimensions are 44 × 440 × 180mm. The Mercusys device includes PoE technology, which provides power and signal connection to end devices with just one LAN cable.
