The Immax NEO Nexa smart plug remotely controls connected electrical appliances in your home and monitors their operation. The plug connects to an electrical network with a rated voltage of 230V and a frequency of 50/60Hz. The device uses the Zigbee 3.0 wireless communication protocol for integration into home automation systems. It requires a compatible central unit or Tuya Zigbee gateway to operate. Users control connected devices via a mobile app or through voice assistants in the home.
Connected appliances are controlled via the Immax NEO PRO mobile app, which is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems. This application is available in Czech, Slovak, English, German, Hungarian and Polish. Users can remotely switch connected appliances on or off from anywhere with an internet connection. The system also supports the Tuya and Lidl Home platforms for integration with other compatible automation elements within a single home network.
Integrated sensors measure the electrical parameters of connected appliances in real time. The system records the current power, mains voltage and total electricity consumption. These measured values help to analyse the energy consumption of individual appliances in the household. This gives users an overview of their energy consumption directly in the mobile app. The mains standby power consumption of the plug itself is less than 1W, contributing to the economical operation of the entire system.
The design includes one USB-A port and one USB-C port for powering external devices. These integrated connectors support Power Delivery fast charging technology with a total output power of up to 20W. When used individually, both ports provide parameters of 9V / 2.2A or 12V / 1.67A. When both ports are used simultaneously, the output parameters are 9V / 1.1A and 12V / 0.84A. This allows you to charge mobile phones, tablets or headphones without using separate mains adaptors.
The plug acts as a signal repeater, or Zigbee repeater, in the network. This function extends the range of the wireless network for other compatible elements in the home. The wireless range is up to 30m in open space and approximately 5m in a built-up area. The operating frequency of the wireless transmission ranges from 2,400MHz to 2,483.5MHz. The socket stabilises the communication between the sensors and the central unit. The RF output power ranges from 10dBm to 19dBm.
In the mobile app, you can set schedules, countdowns and automatic scenarios for switching on and off. The user can easily program the coffee machine or lights to turn on at a specific time of day. These functions help to optimise the operation of appliances according to the daily routine of household members. The set schedules and countdowns work reliably even during a temporary loss of direct internet connection with the mobile phone. You can also use Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple Siri Shortcuts for control.
The Type E plug with earthing pin can handle a load of up to 3,200W at 16A. An integrated mechanical child safety lock, which prevents foreign objects from being inserted into the live openings, increases operational safety in the home. The IP20 rating designates this device for indoor use only. The operating temperature must be between 0°C and 40°C and the operating humidity must be between 20% and 85%. The white design plugs directly into a standard mains socket.
