High resolution
The optical section features a 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and a fixed lens with a 4mm focal length. The device records video in 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution at a frame rate of 15 FPS. The wide 120° horizontal viewing angle covers a large area in front of the lens. Modern H.265 video compression efficiently reduces data demands and saves storage space while preserving detail. H.264 encoding serves as an alternative for compatibility with older systems.
Hybrid night vision
A hybrid lighting system is used for monitoring in low-light conditions. The infrared diodes emit invisible light with a range of up to 30m for discreet monitoring. An integrated LED spotlight with a 20m range activates colour night mode when it detects activity. The combination of both technologies helps to reliably identify objects even in complete darkness.
Smart motion detection
The built-in PIR sensor, with a 120° angle and 8m range, reacts to the heat radiation of living objects. The algorithm recognises human figures, vehicles, or animals, thereby eliminating false alarms caused by rain or falling leaves. Users can set specific active zones to monitor selected parts of the property. When the area is breached, the system activates a light alarm using the LED spotlight and sends a notification.
Two-way audio
The device's body houses a sensitive microphone and speaker for two-way audio transmission. This setup is used for communicating with visitors at the entrance or warning off strangers. The built-in siren with a volume of over 90dB serves as an audible alarm when danger is detected. 3D noise reduction helps to ensure the clarity of the transmitted voice without ambient noise.
Recording storage and construction
This camera works exclusively in conjunction with the iGET HOMEGUARD HGNVK108402S camera set. Recordings are saved to the manufacturer's cloud storage or to a memory card in the recorder. Power is provided by an integrated 9000mAh battery, which is recharged by a 3.2W solar panel. The device operates reliably in a temperature range from -20°C to 50°C, protected by its IP66 rating.
Connectivity and application
Wireless network connection is handled via an integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi module. The network system communicates using standard HTTP, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP protocols. The Homeguardlink app is used for remote management and viewing the live feed on Android, iOS, and Windows systems. The user interface supports Czech, Hungarian, German, and English.
