The digital medical thermometer in red is used to quickly and contactlessly measure body temperature. What should I do when taking a non-contact temperature measurement with the HARTMANN Veroval baby?
1. Ensure that the ambient temperature is between +15 °C and +40 °C.
2. Remove hair, sweat, beauty products or dirt from forehead before use.
3. Make sure that the mode switch is set in the correct position (head symbol for measuring body temperature, house symbol for measuring object or ambient temperature).
4. Press the (O/I) button to switch on the thermometer.
5. Place the thermometer over the centre of the forehead so that it is about 3-5 cm from the skin. Press the SCAN button to start the measurement. When measuring, move the instrument from the middle to the ends of the forehead.
6. After 3 seconds, the navigation light will go out. Now you can move the thermometer away from the forehead. Temperature readings are complete. When measuring the temperature of surrounding objects, first make sure the thermometer has been in the same room for at least 30 minutes. Do you measure the ambient air temperature? In this case, pick up the thermometer and aim freely into the space.
