The Gigaset DESK 400 corded telephone makes it easy and simple to make and receive calls. Four direct dial buttons and ten speed dial numbers provide a quick connection to important contacts. The phone offers a choice of 3 ringtones and volume levels to alert you to incoming calls, or you can turn the ringer off completely for silent operation. The earpiece volume can be adjusted in 2 steps. You can write down names for specific numbers on the supplied paper insert. For quick redialling of the last number, there is a redial function. Thanks to its certification according to the European standard ITU-T P.370, it allows hearing aid users with induction transmission to make calls without interference. The Gigaset DESK 400 can be used as a desk or wall-mounted telephone. For wall mounting, it is simply attached with two screws.

Flexible Use
The Gigaset DESK 400 is easy to operate and at the same time versatile, suitable for home or office use. Installation is simple, and the phone can be connected to a fixed telephone network or used as part of an internal telephone network. The dialling method (tone or pulse) is adjustable, as is the flash signal time for the call transfer function (using a slide switch). By pressing the mute button, you can prevent the other party from hearing the ongoing conversation.
