The de Buyer Mineral B Element frying pan has a long wooden handle firmly attached with rivets. It has a true Lyonnaise shape – the sides are high, flared and rounded, with no sharp angles, meaning food slides easily from the pan onto a plate or bowl . The pan becomes increasingly non-stick due to the pan break-in process. The extra thick iron of the pan is suitable for intense heat sources, including induction. The MINERAL B ELEMENT pan will be part of your kitchenware for decades if you follow the instructions for using and cleaning iron cookware. An iron pan is not suitable for preparing scrambled eggs; only prepare boiled eggs and omelettes in well-seasoned cookware. The pan is treated with beeswax – beeswax is an excellent choice for protecting pans from oxidation and helps with the pan' s break-in process. Beeswax also improves non-stick properties.
