Despite all the shortcomings I would rate the kettle something between 3 and 4, the reason why I give only 1 is the strong smell of plastic. I have experienced many plastic or half plastic watering cans, but none have smelled as strongly as this watering can. If you are a big opponent of plastic smell and plastic elements in the cooking area, don't buy it. But if you don't mind that, and you're more into design, it'll be perfect for you. I'm not going to return it, I already have a ton of microplastics in me anyway, but I wanted to detail it here so people know what they're buying.

Excellent funnel shape design, it doesn't clink and the water pours beautifully where you need it.

The alarm works, so I didn't check the temperature, I don't have the means to do so, but the water turns off exactly when the raffia is at 100. So the kettle doesn't boil unnecessarily.

The design is beautiful, delicate, vintage. Decorates the kitchen, gives a retro teapot vibe.

The handle, although I was a bit worried about it according to the photos, is very comfortable in the hand. Well thought out ergonomics, despite the large dimensions of the jug you can pour with one hand.

There's a lot of plastic inside, you can't see it in the shop photos. It's at the bottom and top of the watermark, by the alarm clock (the only one I assumed it would be), under the lid, on the funnel on the inside, and on the filter. And there's some kind of rubber or silicone at the bottom of the metal rod.

The smell of plastic - I had to pour out the first water because I could smell plastic half a meter away from the watering can. I've used the kettle about 15 times now and you can still feel the plastic when you put the spout at nose level.

The rod (as I mentioned above) is also not visible in the photos, so there is some sealant at the bottom and a large piece of plastic at the top to block the hole. You can't get much around the bar, so cleaning it isn't easy.

You can't even get to the filter properly through the big piece of plastic in the hole, it fell into the water 5 times before I put it back on and I have a pretty small hand.

There is a small space between the lid and the handle, and the lid has no seal, instead there is a metal beak (I'm afraid it will soon break or bend), so when you want to open the lid, you have to work harder and hit the handle a bit.

The minimum amount of water is 0.75l, 1 cup has 250ml, so even for one coffee you are boiling water for 3 people.

The whole bottom of the can is plastic, about 2 cm. And the tray looks very cheap, is very thin and has no weight. The clasp is also a trap, which is common, but it's too long for my taste - I'm afraid it will break off. The top of the lid is plastic and the handle is also plastic (but that's the only thing I don't mind, at least it doesn't get cold in my hand). I would say the product is overall about 60% stainless and 40% plastic.

It seems to me unnecessarily large (see min. amount of water 0.75l), total width is 24.5 cm (including funnel and clasp lever) and height is 27 cm. If it only had 1.5l instead of 1.7l, it would be more space efficient, at least in my opinion, in terms of size.
