Sound controlled by the latest YPAO and Virtual CINEMA FRONT technologies

Each room is different, so with this in mind Yamaha created the Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer. This will analyse the room acoustics and adjusts various parameters for optimal sound in just minutes. It ensures that the sound is tuned to the acoustics of the room to provide the best sound experience. Even from small speakers, the YAMAHA RX-V683 delivers rich bass due to sophisticated low frequency enhancements. If you do not want or cannot install rear speakers, Virtual CINEMA DSP will make a realistic surround effect even with 2 speakers. Virtual CINEMA FRONT then virtually allocated 5 speakers, even if they are stacked just in front.

Partner of the latest TV with HDMI 2.0

This device supports the latest HDMI standards including 4K video transfer at 60 frames per second (pass-through only). It fully communicates with HDCP 2.2, the latest copyright standard. It also manages the wider colour gamut BT.2020 (pass-through) and, of course, 3D video signal. The Back Audio (HDMI ARC) then makes it easy to connect the YAMAHA RX-V683 to the TV with a single HDMI cable through which the sound is transmitted from the TV to the receiver.

MusicCast music home centre
