This ADSL modem is required equipment for users who use the internet via cable lines to existing telephone lines. It is an ideal solution for sharing Internet in households and small businesses. Modem abounds standard ADSL2 +, which supports data transfer rates up to 24 Mbit/s in download direction and up to 1.4 Mbps for uploading. These reaches speeds up to 6.5 km from the telephone exchange is installed DSLAMs. The modem also supports the standard Annex A and B to connect to the PSTN telephone line, or ISDN.
Thanks 4 LAN ports, modem also functions as a router, and so it is possible to connect to the network up to 4 computers. A very interesting feature of this model is USB 2.0 interface. USB port can connect to other network computers, printers or external hard drive, and thus create your own FTP server, a data content to which you can access from anywhere.Modem also has built-in firewall, packet filtering and MAC address filtering, which provides optimum security for your network.
