Finally a home-theatre experience that you can set up in almost any room. Until now, film-lovers needed a dedicated space for watching content on a projector, so that there was enough space between the projector and the viewing area. This projector requires almost no space, while providing a high-quality, large-format picture.
To get the most out of your films, a projector requires the latest SXRD (Silicon X-tal Reflective Display) technology. This system includes three SXRD panels with minimal gaps between pixels. This means better color, deeper blacks, and higher brightness for the viewer. The projector is also ready for 4k content with a response time of only 2.5 ms!
Already famous in BRAVIA TVs, the Triluminos backlighting system allows for high dynamic contrast and the best quality colour. Coupled with the Z-Phosphor laser light engine, these features allow for the most vibrant images possible: skin-tones are more natural and landscapes are more beautiful.
Whenever you watch anything, the image will always stay silky-smooth and sharp at the same time because of Sony’s Motionflow technology. If your favorite movies are on Blu-ray or DVD, then the projector has the ability to upscale them to stunning 4k resolution without sacrificing colour or contrast.
For the first time, a high quality projector that you can truly set up anywhere! It can be put on the floor, furniture, or mounted on the ceiling. With a picture size from 2-3 metres at only 21 cm away, the choice is yours.
Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
