Size does matter, and this old adage rings true even for the Sony camera sensors. The HXR-NX3’s 3CMOS sensor can create a beautiful bokeh effect that enhances the object you are shooting. Three separate sensors - one each for the Red, Green and Blue channels - mean an exceptional dynamic range, creating natural colours and fine detail. It also provides high resolution, high sensitivity, and wide dynamic colour range, which means you can shoot in poor lighting conditions with minimal noise.
This professional Sony camera lets you shoot documentaries, films, TV commercials, and much more. Video is recorded in AVCHD 2.0 at Full HD and 50 fps.Video can be recorded simultaneously and continuously on two SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, for which the camera has two card slots. Its compact size and light weight mean you can use it as a hand-held camera, allowing you to shoot in tight spaces and from various angles. The viewfinder lets you quickly and smoothly adapt to different conditions of shooting. And if the viewfinder is not enough, you can use the 3.5" display. Thanks to a built-in LED video light, you can even shoot in impenetrable darkness. This handy little light is good for approx. 200 lux/1 m.
2x slow motion can be easily achieved by setting the recording format to 25p and the frame rate to 50 fps. If you’d rather speed up the action the frame rate can be set to 1 fps for 50x quick motion.
The camera is also equipped with Sony’s 20x optical zoom G Lens for wide-angle shooting. If this still isn’t enough, Clear Image Zoom provides total 40x zoom range with effectively no quality loss. The camera’s Wi-Fi support lets you transfer videos to smart devices, social networks, or upload them to the cloud. Wi-Fi also allows you to control the camera remotely. Finally, it also features NFC support.
Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
