The Sony ECM-673 is a pistol condenser microphone that delivers great sound performance in both studio and outdoor applications. It offers an excellent sensitivity of -36dB (0dB = 1V/Pa) and a noise level of less than 17dB. This allows it to be used for clear voice sensing even in noisy environments. The advantage of this microphone is also a flat and wide frequency response, ranging from 40Hz to 20kHz. It delivers true sound reproduction with a subtle and natural character. This is a great microphone for HDV, DVCAM and XDCAM series camcorders.
