The Sirui Saturn 75mm T2.9 1.6× Carbon Fiber Full-Frame Anamorphic Z Mount (Blue Flare) is a professional anamorphic lens designed for Nikon Z digital film cameras. It offers full-format sensor coverage, constant anamorphic squeeze factor of 1.6× and a lens aperture of T2.9, making it possible to achieve an authentic cinematic look with an oval bokeh, distinct separation of the subject from the background and widescreen aspect ratios up to 2.4:1 or 2.8:1 after desqueeze. The lightweight carbon fiber construction significantly reduces the weight of the lens, making it suitable for use on gimbals, drones and handheld stabilizers without compromising image quality.

The Sirui Saturn 75mm T2.9 uses an anamorphic optical design with constant 1.6× image compression. After desqueezing, wide-angle film aspect ratios are created without the need to crop the image, making maximum use of the sensor area. Typical features of the lens include oval bokeh, accentuated separation of the subject from the background, and horizontal light flares that give the shots an authentic cinematic character.

The optical system of the lens consists of 16 elements in 11 groups and is designed with an emphasis on minimal distortion, high sharpness in the centre of the image and aberration control. The lens is optimised to avoid unwanted changes in the shape of the face when refocusing, the so-called "face shape". "anamorphic mumps", which is key especially for dialogue scenes and portrait shots.

The front of the lens is made of carbon fiber, which significantly reduces the overall weight while maintaining high mechanical strength. This makes the lens ideal for use on drones, gimbals and other stabilization systems where every gram is crucial. Mechanical controls are adapted to a professional film workflow.

The lens is designed primarily for film and video production where the emphasis is on a distinctive visual style. It can be used in feature film, commercials, music videos and creative projects where the goal is to achieve an authentic anamorphic look without the need for digital simulations.
