Seagate One Touch Hub external drive as a central point
On the front panel of the drive, you will find USB-C and USB-A ports that function as a fully-fledged hub. You can connect flash drives, card readers or other external devices here for quick file transfers. At the same time, the ports can be used to power and charge connected phones or tablets, even when the computer is turned off. The entire device connects to your computer via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, which ensures a smooth data flow.
Encryption
The protection of your stored data is handled by AES-256 standard hardware encryption, which encodes files directly at the device level. This process runs independently of the computer and does not affect its performance. You gain access to the entire contents of the drive after entering a private password, which prevents unauthorised access. The combination of hardware encryption and a password creates robust protection for sensitive company documents, personal photos and entire system backups.
Backup and compatibility
The 12TB capacity provides enough space for storing extensive video archives, high-resolution photo collections and complete work projects. Backup management is made easy with the included Seagate Toolkit software. The application supports automatic file backups at pre-set intervals or one-click backups. The drive is ready to use with both Windows and Mac systems straight from the factory, with no formatting required. The package also includes Rescue Data Recovery Services in case of unexpected data loss.
