The adapter is used to connect USB peripherals (USB Host) - is designed to connect the tablet to a PC or to charge the tablet. However, you can buy a USB data and charging cable SAMSUNG ECC1DP0UBECSTD, which allows to connect your SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab device to your compatible host computer so that the tablet can function as an external modem or synchronize your data, or to simultaneously charge (device must support USB charging cable.)
