I bought the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 mainly out of curiosity - I was interested to see where folding technology has moved. And I have to say, I was quite pleasantly surprised by this phone. The layout is almost like a tablet - the main 8" display is beautifully sharp, smooth and really great to work and watch videos on. When closed, it works like a classic phone, so I don't have to lug two devices. I've been waiting for this phone, the Fold 6 didn't make much sense to me in terms of thickness and I didn't want to switch from Apple to a noname brand. The performance of the phone pleasantly surprised me, I was afraid of the transition from Apple, but the phone so far goes as it should and the transfer of data from Ios was also easy, only some applications need to be replaced (even hardware - watch), but all data remains. The camera is a chapter in itself - the main sensor has 200 MP and the photos are really worth it. Especially the zoom or night mode are very nice. It's just a shame that Fold 7 doesn't have support for the S Pen - it would come in handy sometimes. The only major minus is the battery and charging. The battery didn't fit bigger in the phone and from 0 you can charge it in 2 hours, but with more work with the main display I have trouble lasting a day. Fold 7 has really impressed me and I'm happy with my purchase so far. In conclusion, I would recommend the phone to anyone looking for a 2in1 device that is compact and great for working on the go and if you search you can get a nice discount off the pretty high original price.

after unpacking I have a good feeling about the seven, I hesitated a lot between the S25 Ultra, but in the end I decided on the Fold7, already can be used as a normal phone and only when necessary open to the internal screen.
wider than Fold6
thinner than Fold6
overall good impression
200mpx camera
bluetooth 5.4
the telescope could have been better
the flashlight could be bigger

It's tel to work, battery lasts a day max, charging takes about an hour. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants something different. The layout of the display is the key here!
Display
Speed
One Ui is great.
It holds up better than 99% of current cell phones.
Cameras
The unfolded state is a blast.
When you put it down, it rattles thanks to the cameras.

The phone is amazing and the wow effect has arrived. Great to write, shoot and work on. Lots of settings and customisation. The Spigen case, purchased separately, is great on it, especially the higher-end one with the joint protection. For the protection, it holds up great, it doesn't shrink, great. The phone is so thin that when I took it out I was afraid to break it. I was worried about the visibility of the bend, but great. The best phone I've ever had, I don't regret the purchase, at least for now.
Great internal display
great to write on
lots of settings and customisation options
very good cameras
very thin (maybe too thin for me)
I was afraid of the endurance, but so far so good
too thin

I am completely satisfied with the phone. It is amazingly thin and comfortable in the hand. Compared to the Fold6 I bought last year, this is really a huge upgrade and overall improvement. The Fold6 was very similar to the Fold5, but now the Samsung Galaxy Fold7 has nothing to be ashamed of and I agree that it is the best foldable mobile on the Czech market. I've always bought Galaxy S series mobile phones every year for 6 years in a row, but I can say that the Fold7 is a really top-notch phone and a great choice for anyone who needs to have a mobile office always at hand, or who reads eBooks or watches movies on Netflix on the go.
Amazingly thin
Absolutely great photos
Inner and outer display excellent colour rendering
Minimally noticeable fold of the internal display
The speed of the 1TB/16GB phone is second to none
Battery life
Weight
Unfortunately the S-pen is missing

The mobile phone is great in terms of equipment, but the reliability is worse. The original Samsung cover is only for the back of the phone. The picture is great, almost no folding on the inner screen. Complaints take a long time, in my opinion this is because it is a new model and there are no spare parts available - but this is only a supposition, I have asked about this several times, but it has never been confirmed or refuted. If the customer service improves, I will adjust the review to reflect reality. I certainly don't blame it on Alza alone, there may be a fault in the authorized service, however, the experience with the authorized service with the FOLD 6 mobile is good.
really takes nice pictures
much better battery life compared to the previous generation
is really thin
within the first week the paint started peeling off (I have a blue one, I don't know if this is a problem with all colours)
the claim takes a relatively long time, no one is able to tell me the date or the solution to the claim - the assessment of whether the mobile can be repaired or not is in my opinion a matter of 2-3 days
I had ordered a second piece, but I cancelled the order, I don't need a 60k mobile with almost zero customer service, but that's not Foldu's fault

Pros: Innovation and Premium Experience One of the biggest draws of the Z Fold 7 is its slim and compact body. Samsung has tried to minimize thickness and weight, which is key in a foldable phone for comfortable use both closed and open. This makes the phone more comfortable in the hand and less taxing on the pocket. Traditionally, the high-end display excels. Whether we're talking about the outer or inner panel, Samsung once again delivers displays with perfect colour, brightness and smoothness. The large internal display is ideal for multitasking, watching multimedia and gaming, while offering an immersive experience that a regular smartphone can't match. The low weight is another welcome improvement. Although it is a large display device, Samsung engineers have managed to keep the weight at an acceptable level, which contributes to the overall comfort of everyday use. The connectivity with Google Gemini is also a big plus. The integration of Google's advanced AI opens up new possibilities for productivity, assistance and interaction with your phone, taking the user experience to a new level. Cons: The Old Pain Points Persist Unfortunately, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 still carries with it some long-standing flaws that users are criticizing. One of the biggest disappointments is the still small battery. Despite software optimizations and a more efficient chipset, battery capacity remains insufficient for a full day of heavy use, especially considering the dual displays. Users will thus often reach for the charger. This is also related to the slow 25W charging. In this day and age, when competitors are offering charging with 60W, 80W or even more, 25W charging on a premium phone like the Z Fold 7 is simply unacceptable and significantly extends the time the phone is "dead". It's also a big disappointment for many users that it doesn't work with the S Pen within the device itself (i.e. the S Pen isn't integrated into the body of the phone, as it is with the Ultra series). Although you can use the S Pen externally, the lack of a pen slot reduces practicality and convenience for those who would like to use it to its full potential. Finally, there is still the absence of proper carbon cases for the entire phone. For such a premium and fragile device, users would expect a wider range of rugged and elegant protective cases to protect the phone from all sides. The current offer is often limited and does not provide sufficient protection.
slim and compact body
superior external and internal display
low weight
connectivity with Google Gemini
slow 25W charging
still small battery
does not support the S Pen
lack of proper carbon cases for the whole phone, what is sold sticks and does not stick

I have been using fold daily for four years now and very intensively, it is my full-fledged assistant on the go, for work, play and everyday life. Not everyone will enthusiastically say "I write emails on it". I've had a Fold3 and Fold5 for two years each, and three generations of Note before that for 6-7 years. The new Fold7 is definitely a top-notch phone, Samsung went all out and delivered a stunning piece, but was it worth replacing the previous models? The higher price was to be expected, the shock was that Samsung didn't give a redemption bonus for the pre-sale, which came after the release date. Totally embarrassing for me. Care+ isn't free for a year like previous models, if Samsung Applovatí was rumored, they took it a step further this year. But back to the phone and its strengths and weaknesses. Compared to previous models (yes, there are flaws). The camera is simply Ultra, we've lived to see it and finally the flagship got the best Samsung had to offer. Very nice design, edgier design. The gash of the internal display has defacto disappeared. Magnification is controversial for me. Samsung hasn't been tempted and you can still use 2x physical sim cards, it's just practical if like me you travel and change sim cards for cheaper local data. I actively use my private and business number at the same time without any eSIM setup. The increased performance is kind of expected, so no need to mention it. For me, the first shortcomings. Samsung has succumbed to pressure from influencers and cool people who want the Flip, but bullshit on what the Fold should look like. The thin body looks great, but only until the moment you need to open the phone. This one takes a grip and I feel like my phone is going to slip out, I hope the case solves that (the non-original ones). Hand in hand goes Flex mode, I feel like the hinge is so stiff and actually shoots out like a slingshot at a greater angle, so I stop using Flex mode because the phone opens up out of nowhere, the hinge just forces it, maybe it will work out in time. The absence of the S-Pen doesn't bother me so much, I've put up with it since the first folk (former Note user and lover - RIP). Until the S-pen is in the body, it's nonsense and Samsung has finally figured it out. The internal camera has a bullet hole, totally a step backwards for me. Once again samsing has succumbed to influencers who constantly cry that the selfie from the internal camera is awful. The phone has the ability to take selfies from the main camera, using the internal camera for anything other than Teams conferences (yes it's just supposed to be a webcam) is nonsense. And there we have it, there's a gunshot that just bothers me when I watch the videos! There's a better camera that I don't use and it ruins the experience of watching the film. they shouldn't have put her there in the first place! Seriously, Samsung, don't do that again! If technologically you couldn't put the camera under the display like in the last models because of the thinness, you should have thickened the body, the cameras are so protruding that to put the phone on your back and operate it is a complete disaster because Samsung can't help but leave the iconic traffic light that is practically sh*t. The original covers are ridiculous, just the back? That's a joke at those prices, fortunately the cover manufacturers understand this and continue to supply the front bezel as well. I switched from 512GB to 256GB, Samsung is like Apple in this, they're inflating the prices of higher memory and rusting, they'd already tightened it up just so the base version would have 128GB and they can stick an apple on it. I've never gone over 220 GB and I've had downloads of TV shows, music, audiobooks that were downloaded just for no reason, just because I could. Fold7 is actually a new concept of a foldable phone. Personally, I switched to foldables from Note models and immediately fell in love with the one-handed operation. The narrower and thicker body was just a joy to operate while walking and standing, when my other hand wasn't free it was like having a push button phone back in the day. Samsung has once again succumbed to influencers saying it's hard to type on the phone with two hands closed. And I say, open the phone and write with it open! Now the phone is too wide for one-handed operation and there is uncertainty in typing. For new users who have never had a jigsaw before, they must be thrilled to have an Ultra model they can open. But I believe most long term users feel this is a step backwards. Combined with the thin bezel and its more complicated opening, it actually kind of doesn't motivate me to open the phone and use it when it's open. And that's a pity, because it loses the compactness that the previous folds had. It's a great phone and I believe I'll get used to it, but for me it's not 100% at 5* because the so called improvements, for me, are just trendy cool add-ons that look good in a photo and the marketing must have drooled as it will showcase the thinnest jigsaw puzzle. blah blah blah. If Samsung wants to continue this, they should think about whether it's time to introduce two sizes of puzzles similar to the S/S+/Ultra models. I upgrade every two, three years tops. Because of the warranty and the fact that it costs a kidney to change the battery.
Ultra camera (macro welcome with all ten)
Appearance (the blue one is so presentable that even an apple turns pale with envy)
The displays are fantastic
The absence of a groove, it's really tiny now
Performance (but it just always is as a new model)
Still can't resist putting a fingerprint in the display! Ugh! Thank you!
Physically 2x SIM with eSIM option
Too thin body, cameras just stick out too much
Difficult to open, who has bigger thumbs will have a problem
Flex mode doesn't work like it used to
It's not the compact fold it used to be.
The internal camera is not hidden under the display
Absence of S-pen (although I don't use it)
The original cases are ridiculous
