I've had the Fold for a couple of years now but I was looking forward to this model more and more with each detail revealed. The crucial difference is the ideal size and thickness of the phone when closed looks like a normal sized mobile. Less weight is also known. The big change is also in the camera which has up to 200mpx and it's really noticeable. The display seems to be more colorful or uses different colors. So far I'm satisfied with the price, but it was to be expected with the novelty.

I've been waiting for the phone, the previous Fold 6 was great, but this is a big leap forward. The compactness when folded is great, unfolded is just brutal. And the weight shows, too. The transfer of everything was perfect using the smartswitch app. I like the novelty of the Now brief, which still shows an overview of the day, of course working on the split internal display is addictive. AI features especially for photos are great, where is the iphone. Overall great satisfaction.
Slim design and lower weight compared to the previous model
New display size, especially the front one finally got a size you can write on
Now a brief overview
It could be about an inch shorter in height

After 7 years with the iPhone, I decided to get out of the apple herd and give the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 a chance. The phone is innovative, nimble, offers amazing multitasking and the foldable display is addictive. I was afraid of change, but now I don't regret it at all - on the contrary! Fold 7 convinced me that change was the right choice.

Thin when closed
Large external display that outperforms most standard mobile phones. Paradoxically, the user often has no need to open the phone at all.
200Mpx sensor
Huge internal display where the groove is almost no longer visible.
I've had all versions since Fold3 and this is the biggest intergenerational leap forward.
The protruding camera bothers when you put the phone on the table. In the video reviews, the makers make fun of the way the phone rocks on the table. However, he can live with that.
S Pen support is missing as in previous versions. Personally, I've used it a lot for note-taking, with the finger scrolling the page and the stylus writing. But this can largely be replaced by a regular stylus.

Fold7 is among the best that today's market has to offer. For those looking for a combination of phone and tablet in one body, this is the obvious choice.
Finally, both displays make sense - the phone can be used as an external display without compromise, or switch seamlessly to tablet mode
fast processor - smooth transitions between displays
the design looks solid and premium
great camera
I will miss the absence of a pencil for occasionally signing documents
I would have wished for a thinner design if it meant significantly longer battery life

I bought the Galaxy Z Fold7 as a replacement for my outdated Galaxy Note9, which I use every day for work. I didn't want to change the phone for a long time, after all the Note9 has really brutal performance for its time, which promised maximum versatility for my use. The only flaw was the lower quality photos, but I counted on that at the time, a big plus for me was the ability to display 2 applications on the display and control with a touch pen, which I was used to from the PDA days. I was deciding between the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold7, and in the end the Z Fold7 won out because I wanted to try something new. The Galaxy Z Fold7 takes my daily workflow to new dimensions with its two displays, and I work daily with large spreadsheets that are a joy to scroll through on the internal display. The external display of the Z Fold7 is a little narrower compared to the Note9, but much taller. In the past I tried using a tablet for work, the downside was that I didn't always have it with me, it was quite large even though it only had an 8 inch screen, and the weight was somewhere else compared to a phone. I expected compactness and versatility from the Z Fold7, and that's exactly what it is. So far, the only flaws are the lack of a smart pen socket (but I believe that you can live without it, the pen is fine, but I did not take it in my hand every day), the lack of headphone output (there is no headphone output because of the thin dimensions after unfolding), the lack of an adapter in the package (the current trend where manufacturers do not give an adapter to a new phone under the guise of environmental motives is just weird), and the protruding camera lens, which I have been worried about since I took the phone out of the box. Among the pluses, I personally count a large internal display, photos in really high quality, AI features (which I look forward to making my work easier), and the latest version of the operating system, which inherently belongs to flagships. I just hope I don't smash the phone and that the internal display can withstand frequent use and doesn't crack, these are the only two concerns I have at the moment.
Large internal display
High quality photos
Thin after unfolding
AI features
Latest system version
Without the ability to dock a smart pen
Without 3.5 mm headphone jack
Convex camera lens
Without adapter in the package

Fold 7 - a big change in a big device. Now the thickness and size of the device is in complete satisfaction for me. The increase in size and the significant reduction in weight is a big thumbs up for me. The freedom of the system is great. The quality of processing of the display, the hinge is also very nice. I have nothing to complain about except the original price for the 1TB version. But what are we going to say, this phone is bought by a person who uses the device and does not look at the price of the product. I look forward to seeing the space used by the perfect DEX.
Weight - I had a Fold 6, now Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and it's just a pikko against it
Fatty - it's like a credit card: -)
Display brightness and colours
Internal and external display - an absolute parade of variations
Quality of workmanship
120Hz much better than iPhone - when compared it's just 120Hz vs. 60Hz
after opening, it still holds perfectly despite the low thickness
I have a 1TB / 16GB and it's absolutely great - freshness, disk size
Camera
Maybe the original full price - but it's a mobile + tablet and it's basically a price equilibrium

The first Fold I got, I was mainly worried that it would be hard to use with one hand and that it would be heavy. Fortunately, this was not confirmed at all. It's even lighter than my old S23 Ultra phone. I've had the opportunity to see older types of Folds and this one is really a big leap forward. I also appreciate the very intuitive transfer of settings and applications from the old phone. The only thing that really annoys me, but I already knew that from the photos/videos, is that the phone doesn't lay nicely on the table because of the protruding camera, so tapping the phone while it's laying down is really stupid when the whole phone is moving. Overall, however, I recommend
large display
handy in the hand
Thin
vivid colours
super camera
it does not sit well on the table due to the protruding camera
very limited choice of covers so far

Fold7 is truly the top in its field and the biggest year-on-year jump in the entire development branch. I've had all the previous generations, but each had some compromise at the time (thickness, camera quality, significant bend in the display, etc. ). Although one had the most advanced model in a given generation, there was always something that was fundamentally missing from the portfolio, but it was available in another model (e.g. better camera). But Fold7 finally changes the rules and comes with the ultimate equipment. The dimensions combined with the size of both displays are breathtaking and the thickness in particular is breathtaking. Surprising is also the endurance, which after the first few days is subjectively much better than the Foldu6, which had the same battery capacity. The icing on the cake are the great cameras with even a fairly decent macro. So for the first time, we have the best that Samsung has to offer in the Fold. And even the bend of the display is much less pronounced. It's still there and refracts the light a bit, but you almost can't feel it when you move your finger while using it. Of the negatives, it is possible to mention the price, which has increased significantly year on year and it is a pity that Samsung has retreated from the favorable redemption bonuses, which in recent years managed to correct the price a little, but it can not be done, for quality tribute is paid. Of the practical details, I will mention only the slightly more demanding opening. I guess it's a matter of habit and you have to find the right grip, but with bigger fingers there is nothing to grip on the thin edges and the opening is still quite uncertain. Could use a protrusion or a cutout. P. S.: I recommend adding the carbon cover, which is absolutely fantastic and I'm glad Samsung has included it in the range again after a year's hiatus.
Great size and aspect ratio of both displays, minimal noticeable bend
Amazing thickness and overall dimensions
Decent endurance
Great cameras
Top equipment
S-pen support is missing
Difficult to open (thin edges, stiff hinge, lack of a "handle")
Higher price
Slow charging by today's standards
