During the cinebench 2024 test the temperature during 30 min load went from 48-49 degrees at rest to 69 degrees at power down after 30 minutes in the multiprocessor test at 100% load of each core - cooled by the old Corsair H60 water cooling without adjustments, which seems ok to me
I didn't have to change the water cooling, the Corsair H60 was fine, so far it is also sufficient for this R9 5950X

Anyone considering this processor and has a weak heatsink needs to upgrade the heatsink. I get above 70 degrees on single core loads and on flat loads with 8 cores or less, but it is stable. Just don't be scared of the 95 degree temperatures, it's by design in a processor and simply a given silicon uses the entire operating temperature range for a significant performance benefit.
