Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Phono USB Turntable is great for playing vinyl records starting with audiophiles. An enhanced version of the classic Gramophone Debut Carbon offers an integrated phono MM preamplifier and A/D converter with USB output. It is very suitable for digitizing gramophone records. It uses a silent, synchronous motor mounted through Sorbate shock absorbers, which uses a silicone strap to drive a low-resonance, heavier MDF plate. The main part of the chassis is made of a light but very solid chipboard.
The fundamental and revolutionary change is the fitting of a carbon fibre tube arm, which is absolutely unique for this price category. And because of this advanced concept, unwanted resonances are efficiently transferred to the base of the arm and then to the chassis. The turntable comes complete with an Ortofon OM10 with an elliptical tip, so just plug it into a preamplifier system and start listening to your favourite music collections in superb quality.
