nJoy Aster 3K

nJoy Aster 3K
The nJoy Aster 3K UPS operates using online double-conversion technology, which constantly regenerates the output voltage to provide protection for critical infrastructure. With a real power of 2700W (3000VA) and an output power factor of 0.9, it can power even high-performance servers. The convertible design allows for installation in a 2U rack position or as a standalone tower. A wide input voltage range of 80–300VAC handles even major grid instabilities without switching to the battery. According to its technical specifications, it powers connected devices at half load for up to 11 minutes.
Key features of the nJoy Aster 3K UPS
- Online double-conversion topology for continuous power supply
- Pure sine wave output suitable for sensitive electronics
- Flexible design for rack (2U) or tower installation
- Option to extend backup time with external battery modules
- Cold start function allows the UPS to be started without mains power
- ECO mode reduces energy consumption and running costs
- Clear LCD display shows the current status
- Advanced management via USB, RS232, and an optional SNMP card
Performance and protection with online topology
The online double-conversion (VFI) topology continuously regenerates the supply voltage, completely isolating connected devices from all grid problems. The output is always a pure sine wave with a voltage accuracy of ±1%, making it suitable even for more sensitive servers and workstations. An output power factor of 0.9 delivers a real power of 2700W with an apparent power of 3000VA. Operating in ECO mode reduces energy consumption and increases overall efficiency to up to 97%.
Battery and operational features
Inside the UPS are six replaceable GP09122L batteries. To further extend the operating time during a power outage, it offers the option to connect external battery modules. The cold start function starts the UPS directly from the batteries without mains power. Operational reliability is also supported by the automatic restart function after power is restored and an internal bypass. Despite its high performance, the noise level is kept below 45dB. The clear LCD display provides information about the current status of the UPS and network parameters.
Management and connectivity options
For remote management and automated system shutdowns, there are RS232 and HID USB communication ports, complemented by a slot for an optional SNMP card and an emergency power off (EPO) port. An IEC-320 C20 input connector handles the connection of the UPS to the mains. For powering devices, eight IEC-320 C13 sockets and one higher-power IEC-320 C19 socket are available.
