  • Wide angle for landscapes, interiors and street photography

  • Auto and manual focusing

Unobtrusive street photography in top quality

The NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 lens is so unobtrusive that it gives a whole new meaning to the word discretion. Weighing 125g (approx.) and measuring just 23.5mm (approx.) in length, you'll hardly notice that you're carrying the NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 fixed focal length miniature lens. If you're interested in street photography or situational portraits, your subjects won't be distracted by the size of your lens. If they even notice it.

Versatile 26 mm focal length

The wide-angle focal length of 26mm allows you to capture still images and movies that capture more of the scene. Or you can shoot in tight spaces and discover impressive new perspectives. When your eye is drawn to smaller details, take advantage of the lens' shortest focusing distance and get closer to your subject - you can get in-focus images with the camera just 20cm from the subject.

Impressive wide-angle shots

The impressive light transmission capabilities of the Nikon Z large bayonet and f/2.8 aperture make it easy to capture the atmosphere of dimly lit locations in high sharpness and brilliance. And you can use short shutter speeds without limiting exposure. If you're shooting from shorter distances, you can achieve more out-of-focus areas to get an artistically blurred background.

Option to use a sun visor

Even the included lens hood does not practically increase the size of the 26mm flat lens. You can leave the lens hood permanently attached to the lens to protect the front optical element and the lens will still easily slip into your camera bag. Plus, you can achieve wider creative possibilities by simply screwing 52mm filters onto the sun visor.

Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.

In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
