ThunderBolt 3 is backward compatible with previous versions of ThunderBolt and the second USB-C connector can be reduced to standard USB 3.0/2.0.
Due to its compact dimensions, the storage does not take up much space. Its area is smaller than that of the Apple iPad Air tablet. The units are easily accessible from the front.
The aluminium housing removes heat much better than plastic. Additionally, the correct storage temperature is supported by integrated redundant fans.
Benefits include wide compatibility with notebooks and PCs. In addition, this product is also compatible with Kensington Locks.
