Image Parameters and Compression
The 1/2.9” progressive CMOS sensor captures video at a resolution of 1920×1080px with a frame rate of up to 20fps. The fixed lens with a focal length of 3.6mm provides a field of view of 86° horizontally, 45° vertically, and 105° screen sizely. An 8× digital zoom is available for zooming in on details, complemented by efficient H.264 video compression to effectively reduce storage and network bandwidth requirements.
Colour Night Vision of the Imou Cruiser SE IP Camera
This pan-tilt camera offers colour night vision technology that preserves colour details even in complete darkness. The night mode range is 30m, ensuring reliable visibility over a longer distance. The integrated spotlight serves as active protection, illuminating the monitored area and alerting you to movement if a breach occurs.
Smart Detection and Active Protection
The security system uses advanced algorithms for real-time motion detection and person recognition. The user can set a configurable monitoring area to eliminate false alarms from inactive zones. When an incident is detected, it sends instant alerts and email notifications directly to your mobile phone or tablet, so you have an immediate overview of what is happening around your property.
Audio Recording
This version has a sensitive element built into its body to capture the audio track from the surrounding environment. The integrated built-in microphone records clear audio concurrently with the video recording, which significantly expands the possibilities for identifying situations when playing back recorded materials and provides a more comprehensive overview of events in the monitored area without the need to install an external audio device.
Data Storage Options
Users have several different ways to store recordings according to their preferences. Local storage is provided by a MicroSD memory card slot, which supports cards with a capacity of up to 256GB for multi-day recording. Alternative solutions include connecting to a network video recorder (NVR) or using the secure Imou cloud storage with a trial version available.
Connectivity and App
Wireless network connectivity is provided by 2.4GHz WiFi with a dual antenna, which delivers a stable signal with a range of up to 100m in open spaces. For a wired connection, there is one 100Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet network port. The device supports the ONVIF network protocol for compatibility with systems from other manufacturers, and remote management is handled by the Imou mobile app for Android and iOS operating systems.
