The iGET SECURITY P8 serves as a magnetic wire detector for doors, windows or garage doors. It is designed primarily for use with iGET SECURITY alarms and is suitable for all locations where guarding is required based on the separation of two magnetically connected parts. The first part is placed on the door/window frame and the second part on the door/window itself. As soon as the parts are more than 2 cm apart, the contact is opened and a signal is sent. The detector is powered directly from the main alarm unit, so no separate power supply is needed.
