GIGABYTE H81M-S2V
The GIGABYTE H81M-S2V is a quality motherboard with a great potential for further expansion, despite its micro ATX format. The modern 1150 socket supports the latest 4th gen Intel processors, codenamed Haswell. The basic building unit that carries out seamless communication between the components is the Intel H81 chipset. The board is equipped with two slots for DDR3 memory modules with speeds up to 1600 MHz. A PCI Express x16 slot is a great addition for gamers who want to enhance their system with a powerful graphics accelerator. For storage, there are two SATA II connectors and two SATA III connectors with a bandwidth throughput up to 6 Gb/s.
The motherboard has six USB 2.0 and two ultra-fast USB 3.0 connectors. The rear panel contains D-Sub for digital monitors and DVI-D, supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Audio connectors such as Line In, Line Out and Mic In take care of the sound device connectivity. The board has an integrated sound card with the Realtek ALC887 codec, offering 7.1 channel HD audio. It also includes an integrated Realtek GbE network card with speeds to 1 Gb/s. The motherboard also boasts a slew of advanced technologies.
