Microsoft has decided to make the new generation of Xbox consoles accessible even to gamers who don't require 4K resolution gaming. The Xbox Series S still offers cutting-edge features like fast loading thanks to its SSD, a higher framerate, larger and more dynamic game worlds, and ray-tracing. To significantly reduce the purchase price, the console does not have a Blu-ray drive, and all games must be bought in their digital edition.
The new Xbox Series S entices with native 1440p gaming at a framerate of up to 120 FPS. The console will also support the highly sought-after ray tracing effects.
The basic 512GB SSD can be expanded at any time using a storage expansion card. This offers additional space to store games at top speed. It is a 1TB card that slots directly into a dedicated port on the back of the console.
Enjoy the modernised design of the Xbox Wireless Controller, featuring a textured surface and refined geometry for more comfortable gaming. With textured grips and a hybrid D-pad, you'll never miss a target. You can also easily capture and share content or instantly pair the controller with your PC and mobile devices.
The spectacular game library includes a whole host of anticipated hits, including Halo Infinite. And through the new, revolutionary Xbox Velocity Architecture, the Xbox Series S will enhance the player experience in thousands of games for Xbox One consoles, including Xbox 360 and original Xbox Games.
