However, Superman returns in a stylish black suit with silver detailing and his symbol on his chest. This Kryptonian suit, also called a "regeneration suit", was designed to heal the hero when his strength is weakened. In addition to providing some protection, it absorbs the sun's energy and thus speeds up its regeneration.
